Manas Play (hereinafter the “App” or “we”) understands the importance of your personal information and protects it in accordance with the law. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App, as well as the rights you have. Please read this Policy carefully before using the App.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our services, we may collect the following information:
- Account data: phone number, email address, nickname, avatar, date of birth; when signing in via Google or Apple, the account identifier and basic profile provided by that platform;
- Device and log data: device model, operating system version, language and region settings, network status, IP address, app version, and crash logs;
- Notification identifier: a device token used for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging Token);
- Usage data: records of views, searches, playback progress, likes, favorites, comments, and ratings;
- Statistical data: anonymous or de-identified usage statistics and event data collected through Firebase Analytics, used to improve the product.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information only for the following purposes: providing and maintaining core services (sign-in, content playback, downloads, favorites, comments, etc.); content recommendations and age-based filtering; ensuring account and service security and preventing fraud; sending service-related notifications; performing statistical analysis to improve the product; and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
3. How We Share Information
Except in the following cases, we do not sell your personal information to third parties or share it without authorization:
- where we have obtained your prior explicit consent;
- providing necessary information to the third-party services listed below as required to operate sign-in, notification, and cloud storage features;
- in accordance with the law or a lawful request from an administrative or judicial authority.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services; their data processing is governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): third-party account sign-in, push notifications (Cloud Messaging), analytics (Analytics), and in-app operational messages (In-App Messaging);
- Sign in with Google / Apple: account authentication;
- Yandex Cloud Object Storage: storage and delivery of media files (avatars, covers, audio, and video);
- SMS and email providers: sending sign-in verification codes and service notifications.
5. Push Notifications
After your consent, we send notifications to your device (content updates, events, and account reminders). You can disable notifications at any time in your system settings or in the App’s “Settings.”
6. Data Storage and Security
We protect your personal information with reasonable technical and organizational measures such as encrypted transmission and access control. Personal information is retained no longer than necessary to achieve the processing purposes, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access and correct your personal information, withdraw consent, delete your data, or close your account. In the “Profile” section you can edit your information, manage notifications and downloads, or delete your account. We will respond to your request in a timely manner in accordance with the law.
8. Account Deletion and Grace Period
When you request account deletion, the account first enters a grace period of several days. If you sign in again during this period, the deletion is canceled and the account is restored. After the period ends, your personal information is permanently deleted (for financial and audit purposes, transaction records may be retained in anonymized form). Deleted data cannot be recovered.
9. Protection of Minors
We pay attention to protecting minors’ personal information. Minors should use the App and provide information under the guidance of a legal guardian. The App filters content based on age information. If you are a legal guardian and have questions, please contact us through the channels below.
10. Cross-Border Data Processing
Because we use services such as Firebase and Yandex Cloud, some of your information may be processed and stored on servers outside your country. We take reasonable measures to ensure that such processing complies with this Policy and applicable law.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time; the updated version will be published in the App. For material changes, we will notify you in a prominent manner. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Policy.
